    Bluejohn Canyon trip

Greetings, I'm a new member planning a hike in Bluejohn Canyon along with two other avid hikers. Is it correct that the West Fork route requires no roping? Also, where can I find the most accurate weather forecast for BJC. Suggestions/comments/advise is welcome!

People who have technical skills can probably get down the West Fork and to the "Rolling Stone" site, and back out, without ropes. I have no information on whether your group can do so.

The closest town is Green River, Utah. You can google up a weather report based on that.

The best advice I can give you is to spell advice with a "c"... but then again, I am a snide one...

Please tell me that note is real! If not please add something like: if you don't know what a carabiner is, or don't own a helmet, just enjoy the rock art and pick up the trash left by the other tourists :)
