On a recent visit to Zion (March 12-15) on two successive days we noticed "hikers" parking vehicles at the last switchback on the road before the main tunnel, (west of tunnel) and departing with full packs (presumably technical gear) up a visible trail that began by climbing up the hillside from the switchback and heading WSW. In looking at our survey maps, it appeared the only thing they could be heading for was Bridge Mtn. Anybody know what this route leads to? Haven't seen any reference to a route starting from this location.

Thanks for the response. Was wondering if it led to climbing routes or a shortcut to Bridge.
