    Winter Ascent of Mt Harvard

Last Friday-Saturday with some friends, I made a winter ascent of Mt. Harvard; just in time for the end of the official winter season. At 14,427 feet it is the 4th highest mountain in the Continental US. I now have completed 27 of the Colorado 14,000+ ft peaks in the winter.

It was cold and windy, but very beautiful and the weather was pretty good (for winter). Here is a photo I took during the climb of a crag seen along the way.

I hope you enjoy the photo.

Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
