Bogley River Rat Gathering?
Would anyone be interested in a Bogley river rafting/canoeing/kayaking gathering over Memorial Day weekend? I wouldn't mind helping organize one.
I didn't draw any permits so it would have to be a non-permit river.
Some suggestions:
Gunnison River; Delta to Grand Junction area
White River; Rangely area to Mountain Fuel Bridge (near Ouray UT).
Flaming Gorge/Swallow Canyon
Colorado River; Ruby-Horsethief Canyons (Loma to Westwater)
Colorado River; Dewey Bridge to Moab
Price River; Woodside to Green River
The San Rafael can be interesting, but it's hard to predict if there will be enough water. Soemtimes it peaks early and sometimes it doesn't peak until June.Utah is a very special and unique place. There is no where else like it on earth. Please take care of it and keep the remaining wild areas in pristine condition. The world will be a better place if you do.
