Random Camping

Good Afternoon Everybody,

I was wondering what the rules are for camping out of your car in Utah/Arizona. I tend to tent but sometimes I pull into a location/trailhead and just sleep in the vehicle.

Are there any regulations about sleeping in your car at trailheads or pullouts? Do i need a backcountry permit?

on blm land it usually isn't a problem. in national parks though it is frowned upon.
