Grove Creek Walkabout
After 9 years on the east coast, it's good be be living back by some decent places to hike. Walked up the Grove Creek Trail on Mt Timp today. The trail is mostly snow free now all the way to the head of the canyon.
Lots of water in the creek
At the head of the canyon, where the bridge crosses, the snow was deep enough to stop me
So I wandered back down and hiked some of the game trails to the North.
Wish I had the stamina and balance of those deer. My legs are tired, but a few more weeks of this and I'll be ready for that snow to melt and open trails higer up.

Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH
