    GSENM, Hike Hidden Cache - Red Top 2008

    Hidden Cache and Red Top in the south are bordered from Paria River and Cottonwood Canyon Road. Our TH were next to Cottonwood Canyon Road and power lines.

    - follow the Paria to northwest

    - reach an southeastern heading Slot and make your decision - right to the northwest bench of Red Top and via Yellow Rock Valley to Yellow Rock, or left to the Box Trail - OK left, because right is a other hike

    - join the Box Trail - lookin' back and say goodbye

    Good report and nice pictures Michel !

    I like this area that I have visited with our common friends, also hiking the Yellow Rock Valley as we had organized a shuttle. Looking closely to this picture (with my daughter), you can see me climbing Top Rock.

    Oh yes, now I remember.
    We hasn't had the right light. I love the warmth and softness in your pictures.
    In the hours of sunset I were to lazy to climb up again. I've enjoyed a couple of cool beer at an campfire on our campsite.

    That's a cool little "hidden cache". Wonder what it was built for or by whom? Nice TR.

    That's a story of the local history.
    After WW2, a german agent should constructed the cache and had lived in that.
