    Hey all when we were in Zion last weekend we noticed a slot canyon near the East Entrance. I asked the Ranger about it and he said it was doable. Thing is we need to get a permit, there are about 6 rappels and the longest is 100 feet, so we would need to get ready for it. I found a pretty good description of the hike at http://www.canyoneeringusa.com/utah/zion/pine.htm I've done a few raps but we all would need to be confident in ourselves and each other before we go play in there. So, lets start getting ready for this and it will also get us ready for any other similar adventures.
    Wow, there's a slot down there? Next time I'm out by the East Entrance I'll have to check this out. Sounds like fun.
