Powder Mountain Ski Resort
Wow, what a nice day up at Powder Mountain. I think it's been around 12 years since I've been up there besides hitting the occasional night skiing run.
I took the day off for my berfday and went up with my bro. It was my first official "powder day" of the season. It snowed a decent amount on Wednesday and the sky was cloudless on Thursday. I thought it was going to be skied out by the time I got there but there were so many areas that were still untouched. We hardly spent any time on the groomers, it was mostly through the trees as the video will show.
I accidentally had it on a different resolution, I usually film at 960p but had it on the 720p, 60 frames per second. If Youtube shows the crisp 60 fps, I'll start filming in that from now on. Let's see how it goes...
Enjoy.
Filmed with the GoPro Hero HD:

and here are a few stills from the footage that I liked.

Nice video!
I like your mount options on your GoPro. Working on getting a few more for the Contour.
A few seasons back I had a season pass up there. Pretty fun place. The drive was just so long from the mouth of Little Cottonwood. The cat boarding off lightning ridge was sick! Always loved Cobabe Canyon too off the tow rope. Powder out there days after a storm.

We're getting an insane amount of snow right now. 1 foot on my driveway. I've got tomorrow off too, but I'm not crazy about the crowds that will be up there for President's Day. I'll wait for another weekday powder day to head up.

Presidents day is the busiest day of the year for Snowbasin! But not bad if you just stay on the old lifts. Wish I was up there.

Yeah this snowstorm today is perfect for the crowds tomorrow. It stopped for a bit, but now it's snowing again. I've gotta opt out though.

Snowbasin was nice on presidents day. I was on Strawberry most of the morning. Power shots all morning long. Then took the afternoon to brave the crowds and take the old lifts.
