    Wind Rivers September 2010

    Winds 2010

This was the latest I've ever gone into the Wind River Range. We paid for it this year, we had gale force winds mixed with snow flurry's everyday. However, it made for some great pic's. It was just my friend Travis from Arizona and I that went this year.

    Enjoy:)

Nice shots Ladd. My first trip up to the Winds was in September, we had a few snow flurries too. But man it was nice being the only ones up there. The fish weren't as bountiful, but they were larger in general.

Beautiful pictures and fish. I need to get up there this year. What area were you in?

Awesome! Despite conditions like that, it always seems to make for the best memories.

My family lives in Lander, at the foot of the Winds (we are transplants from California). Now I see why so many people love to spend their summers up there.

Lovely photos! The Winds are awesome!

I've gone over Labor Day many times and it varied from rain to snow to absolute perfect Indian Summer. Southern end seems to be drier on average though.

I was in the Wind Rivers the exact same time. We entered on the East side between Lander and Dubious. Took the Jeep ride in through the Indian Res.
