Bo mentioned in February 11 Urbanclimber Magazine

I was reading a featured article in February/March 2011 Urbanclimber Magazine pg. 41 and noticed it mentioned @Bo_Beck

At first I didn't even notice his name. Took me long time to see the article. I was . . . I was . . . a . . . distracted with the climbing picture on that page. what a climb

His gruff demeanor softens considerably as he remembers his first years in St. George. "I basically got sucked in," says Goss as he recounts his immediate friendship with Bo Beck, a climbing shop owner, and the rock walls he was drawn to, which he describes as having had a picturesque past and plenty of potential.

Awesome. I searched for it but could only find their write up of TDR online. Will have to visit Bo and see it!

St. George is getting more and more press in climbing mags lately and it shows with how many out of town climbers I've run into this winter down there (I guess technically I'm an out of towner from Salt Lake, but I'm talking about people from outside of Utah and/or Las Vegas). There is good reason though considering all the great rock and winter friendly temps. I just spent the weekend down there and had a blast soaking up the 65 degrees. I noticed Joe Kinder posted some photos on his blog of a new area he wants to start developing that looks AMAZING, so lots of potential for new stuff. Stoked for Misty's Utah Hills book, hopefully it comes out soon.

Nice Bo, one of these days I will make it into your shop and maybe even actually meet you.
