The last weekend in January I had business to attend to up in Ogden so while we were in the area Spencer and I hit the slopes at Powder Mountain. I use to only ski Powder because they were the cheapest. I love that resort. This was the first time up to Powder in four years, besides it was nice to get out of the soup! The inversion is one thing I DO NOT miss. As we drove up from St. George on Friday night the crud begin in Filmore!!

Our day at Powder consisted of doing what Spencer does best and that is screaming down the groomers as fast as he can. I can no longer keep up with him! I sincerely gave it my best effort but he just flies. The only time I could win was on a run he had not previously skied. He won

I used to have a season pass up there. Cobabe Canyon was awesome for finding stashes days after a storm. Just such a long drive to go up there from the mouth of Little Cottonwood Canyon for me. But it is a fun place, and it looks like you had a great blue bird day. Awesome!

The one thing I love most about Powder is that you can always find a spot of untouched snow on that mountain somewhere. You just have to know where to look and maybe be willing to hike a bit.

Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH
