My wife and I also went down a couple weeks ago to do The Wave and just plain get away from work! There were a few things we wanted to do, but we both started getting a cold before we went. We slept like crap so we were pretty lazy on most the trip, but it was more about just getting out! Plus it was our first time to The Wave so it was a scouting trip for a big trip I will be doing this Fall with a couple friends coming up from Australia.

How do you have the video mounted on your pack? Is it somehow attached to your tripod? Is it a GoPro or something else?

It is a Go Pro, and I got a clamp mount for it that I just clamped on to my tripod that was mounted on the side of my pack. I guess I could have just put it right on the head of the tripod, but I have used that camp in the last few videos I have done. One on a steering wheel and one clamped my shovel ice fishing. After I recieved it I saw who simple it was to make, now I will have to make my own.
