tough to say anything with the compression done by youtube. hero is wider, color balance and exposure looks subjective. for me, the gopro is where it's at. i like super wide, and it has tons of different mounts and accessories. and 960p, which can be useful. the waterproof housing is nice for the gopro, think it costs more for the countour.

Interesting! The GoPro looks better in the first vid and looks to have better color but the contour looks better in the second 2

Thanks for posting these videos. It's what I have been looking for. Did they have any comparisons of the gobandit as well? It's supposed to be GPS enabled and waterproof with the ability to add skins to the footage. I still leaning towards the GoPro but I'd like to see how it compares quality-wise.

In that hockey vid above, the Contour HD side shows some waviness in the footage, they say it happened during editing but I've seen this right on Contour's site. Maybe it was the quality of SD card they used, who knows, but it's not the first time I've seen it.
And now with the GoPro offering the BacPac add on LCD viewer that snaps on to the back, Contour HD really has to step up it's game by offering a ton more mounts or something to catch up.
And what's this??? The GoPro 3D camera? I mean at first the helmetcam was like "whoa it's like I'm really there" now it's going to be "whoa it's like I'm really there"
and just because we needed another video in this post

I love my go pro, looked a bit at the contour, but go pro is the way to go! That LCD bacpac will be handy, but they it will be to big for the housing, the must have a bigger housing now for that right? Guess I better do some research!

yeah you get all the new housings with the back pack, waterproof housing and non waterproof. I am going to have to get one of these, then I can use it for even more everyday crap.
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

I guess with the housing for the BacPac, you don't need a complete other case, it's the back door that swings open and disconnects. So it's just a larger back door that comes with the addition and it clips on to your case, replacing the original door. @Garbanzo is saying it has a push button in it too for the "Play" function on the LCD.

Me i prefer "gobandit" instead of this two. The thing i dont like of gopro is that i cannot distinguish the slopes, i never know if people are going up or down, dont know exactly why.

Just picked up a Go Pro Hero 2.
Some questions for those with MACS?
First do I just forget the 4g card and step up to what? Sandisk?
second Will I movie work for me? I have the older 010 and need the 15$ 011 upgrade right now.If you want to ride let's ride and if you want an attitude well we just need to do some more ridding.
