October 2010 Canyoning & Climbing In Utah Part 1

Finally.....found friends to venture into technical slots....and I'm hooked !!! It's so much fun to rap through beautifully curved canyons with a light pack , time to enjoy and take pictures and with a wet suit on not having to worry about getting wet.
Quite a contrast to the snow & ice world we usually play in.

    First stop was Moab.
    Climnbing along Potash road,
Icecream Parlor...very interesting place.... two lads base jumping off the Springboard...oh.... and I now know A: what a boomstick is and B: what it sounds like......now someone please tell me that Utahans are not that possessive about their climbs Anyways the locals were fun to hang out with....I think they knew full well that some of us had no clue when we said "Yes Please we'd like to know what a boomstick sounds like"

Medieval Chamber.. sadly was way too short but super fun. We opted for the Simul Rap Off Morning Glory to add some spice !

In April My girlfriend and me hiked to the Tunnell in arches... not a slot but fun
    to crawl through

Looks great - but more pics would be good! ;) (Seen many on FB already of course, but it's always nice to see more pics!!)

The only "boomstick" I know is from Army of Darkness: "This is my BOOMstick!" as Ash brandishes a 12 gauge shotgun...

I'm jealous that you're getting back down there again soon! I'm on at least a 9 month Utah-less streak...

That was just an arbitrary number in the "Best Of" thread to keep it under control.... When you post a TR more pictures are welcome.

Very nice! You do want to limit the number of photos per post or the thread opens slow, so just add more posts.
