Thread: Idea - Hiking/Canyoneering Resume?

  1. #41
Nice, beech. Anything we can do to get more trip reports posted here is fantastic.

Edit: Why isn't mine showing up? It all looks good when I go to edit signature but nothing out here...

I noticed you've got a space in your Trip Report link, in the word "contenttype". If you fix that it should work.

    Thanks Beech.

    It should be good now.

It does not find all of them though. I know I have far more than that.

Is it possible that they have not been given the prefix of "Trip Report"? I'm finding all 9 pages of mine.

Some day I will go through them and do that. I don't know if I ever put trip report on anything. It's a cool tool though! Love it!

    AWWWW SNAP, everybody hold up

I just got the link to post on everybody's profile, under their avatar.

I can title this whatever you like, maybe to make it more visible.

In the meantime, there are a couple of things that might be desired, like posting the # of Trip Reports you may have, but that ain't happening today

Plus, if somebody doesn't have any Trip Reports posted, the link just won't return any results.

In the future, we'll have a better operating "Trip Reports" link up in the navigation bar up top, it will show the most recent reports coming in, sort them by forum, stuff like that.

    In the future though....

You shouldn't be running into this restriction if you're logged in.

Each time a search query is made, it taxes the server. So if too many searches were able to be made at once, maybe by a malicious script, it could potentially crash the server.

I definitely run into this frequently and I'm always logged in. Just curious, why do you host Bogley on your own server rather than through a hosting company?
