I just noticed that we had a new "Most Users Online" record on December 22nd. This was probably already discovered and posted in another thread but just in case I thought I would post it here.

Cool

At @ 4:00 on Wednesday afternoon, probably hittin' the forums at work before their Christmas vacation started.
On another note:
Most users ever online was 291, 10-26-2010 at 01:56 PM.
That number includes guests.

Everybody's timezone is set in their profile. We had the option of setting the Mountain Timezone for everybody but we're getting quite a few members who are outside of that area now.
Go here to set it, Utah is on GMT -7 hours: (Greenwich Mean Time, Greenwich is the town in London where time is measured from and - well you get the point)

[ geek mode]
GMT technically does not exist...it's now called UTC (Universal Coordinated Time), and the military called it "Zulu".
[ /geek mode]
Greenwich is now a suburb of London, just down the road from me (and is pronounced Grennich, like the "village" suburb of New York)
New Year's quiz 1: Why is it UTC and not UCT? (Cirrus2000 need not apply!
)
New Year's quiz 2: Why was "Zulu" dropped?
Happy New Year to you all!

Nice.
Its interesting that it was on a Sunday. Our weekends are usually the slowest for traffic...go figure. Saturday is always the lowest traffic day of the week.***ENTER to Win a Hydration Pack and Filter from Bogley***

Was that at the height of the ACA/Rich Carlson bashing/questioning/exposing/whining...etc. threads?

WOW!!!
We just blew through the roof today on most users ever.
Most users ever online was 1,002, Today at 03:09 PM.

So much for the troublemakers leaving and thinking they would be missed.
I'd be curious to know where all the users came from. Any time I see a huge spike like that on Climb-Utah it's normally because it was mentioned in a national newspaper or magazine.
