    Favorites from the Picture Ribbon

I love these random pictures that appear in the small ribbon above and wish there were more descriptions behind them. Many are obvious and some I just keep clicking because they are aesthetically pleasing. For some reason, I can't find these in any album when I click the small link above the pictures. Is there a central location for all of the Bogely pics and can we contribute to it?

It would be nice if we could submit pics to this album or ribbon with a rule that states you have to add a description. I'd love to check out some of these places.

Below are some of the ones I find myself looking at more than the others but I still love to check them all out:

Sorry, couldn't figure out how to embed them so the links are below.

Anybody else notice that the pictures he finds "aesthetically pleasing" more mostly women?

Two of those are mine (the ones without any women in them ). You can check out the trip reports by clicking on the photos below.

Not all of them are women but hey, you have to admit, they are "ALL" aesthetically pleasing!

Thanks Udink for the links, I glanced through the pics and I'll read the reports tonight. Great pics by the way.

I'm sure if you put your favorites up there Tanya, they'd be a bit different from mine. Would be interesting to see which ones everyone likes. I'd add some of my own up there if I knew how.

This is actually on the long list of things to do, we'll hopefully soon enable every attached photo from trip reports to be automatically shown up there. But like I said, it's on the long "To Do" list. Those pics up there probably haven't been updated for over a year.

What about just setting up a Bogley group on flickr so we can add pictures...and then pull the banner photos from there? Not sure if that's possible or not....just a thought

There is nothing wrong with the men enjoying females. That's just normal.

That was an option a while ago, and maybe some things are in place to prevent these kind of things, I haven't studied up on Flickr for a bit. What we were afraid of is letting anybody and everybody donate photos to the set, and maybe some inappropriate stuff gets dropped in there. Or having the username and password available for the set, posted on bogley somewhere and then maybe a random lurker gets in and wreaks havoc.

I used to bump a thread (a couple actually) asking for requests to the image bar, they ended up dying too.

The truth is, anytime there's a manual task that needs to be completed it just falls behind at some point.

It would be the most seamless if I could just get some time to add this feature, basically "Albums". Then it would just rotate through the latest uploaded photos. We could also rate/vote on them and cycle through the highest viewed/rated photos, that would eliminate a lot of the boring ones. Still a few kinks to work out, but this would really be the best method.

If you guys keep pushing this, I just might give in and have to get it set up sooner than later.

I like that idea too. If there was a feed that we could pull from with a "bogley" tag perhaps? Or we somehow give everyone access to the bogley account? Not sure. You flickr gurus figure it out and let us know. Lets make it happen and make it a dynamic feed.

I've noticed there are some flickr groups that you have to be approved before you can add photos....what about only approving Big Shots? We should be able to trust the Big Shots won't post inappropriate content..right :)

Right. And just have one of us that uses flickr a lot admin the Flickr Bogley group. That would be easy.
