2011 Idaho Hot spring / backpacking trip
I've always wanted to venture up to Idaho and explorer some of their many hot springs but never have. If the wifey will let me I'm considering taking a trip this next summer has anyone been to any good ones?
I've read about Goldbug, Rocky canyon, 16 mile, Molly and some other near by these any other good ones i should consider adding to the list? I want to spend 5-7 days up there driving and backpacking and exploring these more primitive hot springs.
Thanks in advance.

There are lots of backcountry hot springs up this way. I recommend checking out the following:
http://www.amazon.com/Hiking-Springs.../dp/0762736232
http://www.amazon.com/Complete-Guide.../dp/1932133232
That second one may be out of print now? There are also several internet sites devoted to springs. Note that Rocky Canyon had a very nice set of pools, but the improvements were removed by the FS in 09. I haven't been there since then, but would imagine it's only a small pool next to the river these days. Too bad, as it used to be a fun ski, river crossing, and soak.
