Red River Gorge
New post on my blog about a trip this month to the Red River Gorge in Kentucky. Amazingly fun climbing on really great rock. Can't wait to get back.

This is my backyard! I try to get down there (2 hours away) at least once a month and more in the spring and fall. I'm not a climber due to carpel tunnel syndrome but do love to rappel here. Know this place like the back of my hand so if anyone is out this way and interested in exploring let me know.

p40whk: I too have carpal tunnel, but find that climbing doesn't affect it and even sometimes improves it. I think the strength training and stretching keeps the pain at bay Have you tried to climb before?
FYI - RRG is about 2 hours from me as well. It's a wonderful place with world class climbing. I climb, rappel and backpack there frequently, but haven't be able to get down there much this year.
