    Cabins above Layton

Anyone know how many cabins there are up on the mountain above Layton?

I've been to the one up Adams Canyon, and the one above the Fernwood Picnic Area.
I've heard rumor of one up Baer Canyon.

    Are there others up there?

The Fernwood one has the back wall caved in. The one up Adams Canyon is pretty sweet. I'll look for pictures to post.

The one up Adams is owned or built by the Morgan family of Layton. My Dad use to go up there and stay many moons ago. I have never heard or seen one up Baers.

I have a friend that works for Davis SAR, and there are 5 public cabins that he knows of. One is up Adams (been to that one...almost a 2hr hike but nice inside). One is up Fernwood. Another is up Webb (tiny). And the other 2 are not publicly known.

I'll try to get more info for ya and maybe some GPS coords.
