    Climbers are tying a knot around business

    Chad Biesinger or Nick Turner, co founders of Epic Gear, tie more belts will manning a booth at the Zion Music Festival. Their products, made from paracord, has become popular among climbers and also non enthusiasts who prefer their ground level.

    Chad Biesinger and Nick Turner have found a handhold for their outdoor hobby of rock climbing, and at the same time a way to make a little money.
    "We started Epic Adventure Gear at the recommendation of family and friends," 28-year-old Turner said of his accessory company. "Our families spend a lot of time in the outdoors camping, rock climbing, canyoneering and hiking. Really, any excuse to get outside."

    The two friends are tied by marriage as in-laws and say Epic Adventure Gear began as a simple idea to make packing gear more efficient. It started when they took their wives, Stephanie Turner and Emily Biesinger, out canyoneering, said Turner, whose other job is in insurance.

    "We always carried a piece of paracord in our packs to have for emergencies," Turner said. "The cord is 7-strand military grade paracord that is rated to hold 550 pounds. One day while we were canyoneering, I was pulling some gear out of my backpack and the paracord had gotten tangled around some of it. [Stephanie] mentioned that we should make them into something to keep it from uncoiling and getting tangled in the backpack." ...

    Thanks guys! We are super pumped about the exposure. Kindof sucks our website guy hasn't had a chance to get the website done yet but it should be going soon!
