First turns of the 2010-2011 snowboarding season! Alta- October 2010

Well, it finally happened. I got my first turns for this season! I wanted to scout it out, for I did not want to sustain an injury this close to kick off of the season. So I decided to head up the Albion Basin and check it out from there. Snowshoeing is hard work, and I forgot this as I climbed the Basin. Got to the top of Sunnyside, and took some time getting dry and taking some pictures. I ran into a buddy of mine who was up there snowshoeing. He was nice enough to get a few pics of me on the board on the way down. From the looks of it, anything north facing has good coverage. I hit not a thing riding today. The coverage was pretty good everywhere. It I have to say I have missed riding, and cant wait to hit it again. Looks like Sunday Funday this week! Yay for snow!

Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH

Thanks everyone. Super stoked. Looks like we just got some more up there. I will be hitting it again tomorrow.
