if you've never seen a slideshow by andrew mclean, it's a real treat and his nonchalant humor is great. if you don't know who he is, but are in the Denver area TONIGHT, he's a pioneer in the ski mountaineering world who climbs what he skis on his own volition, he's even ski-kited up the miles of icy fjords of baffin island just to get to the goods harnessing the strong winds (which inspired the powderwhores to follow).
