Wendy and I were just looking over the flowerwalk and the Imlay trip from canyons. Good stuff!! Dean and the gang look to have had a good trip, Lots of smiles.. I am a huge fan of the macro stuff, being from a reef tank background I cant help but love the closeups of the great native flowers we have.. It should be real good for flowers following this rain!!
I need a Canyoneering partner! I have a open schedule, all my own gear and am looking to go as much as possible..PM me!

Very nice flower walk Tom. I envy you for being able to "just go for a walk" in such a beautiful place. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with the rest of us stuck out in cyber world. The insects are fascinating!

Lower Echo looks really interesting. Someday, I would like to see this place for myself.

    Nice!

Sorry, thought I had posted the review already - apparently not! So I just did, on a separate thread and here: http://www.canyoneeringusa.com/gearg...ring-reviewed/

Latest word has it available late November. I am putting in my order next week so should have them as soon as anyone, assuming I pass muster!

Awesome reports as always. If you ever need a mule to carry the long rope AND bolt kit for your next adventure in Spearhead, I am good at carrying things!

I've been using one the last several trips and really like it. There are many friction options, works well for me on both single and double strand methods, and I aslo like the ease of hooking in and out of the rope with it (can do so without extracting the device entirely off of the rope like with an ATC.
