Coldwater to I Don't Know It's Too Dark
We had another great ride on this trail but quickly learned we should have started a couple of hours earlier. We met came out of Wheeler at 8:00 in almost pitch dark.

We had a little bad luck driving up to the Snowbasin parking lot when Garbanzo's new bike rolled out of my truck.
That really sucked. It messed up his rear derailleur but we practiced a little tailgate workshop on it and got it in working condition.
We met up with Mark B, Mark M, Matt, Cody, Gene, Andrew, Ryan, Shawn, and I.
The colors were gorgeous, and the good news is I think we'll have another week of them.
The bad news, I left my camera in Luce's car so Garbanzo might be able to get that for me so I can post some pics, and of course we had 3 cameras rolling. We'll get some good video out of the ride.
I'll post some pics as soon as I can. Oh, and Luce, don't go through the pictures on that camera if you know what I mean.
jk
EDIT, ok here are some pics.

Garbanzo has the camera now. That was a great ride. Thinking about trying to get that one in again this weekend in the day light hours when I can see what I'm riding.

Thanks for the bike comments. I am glad to report that it is just the derailleur and drop bracket. They're on order and will be ready for next week's ride! Here is the video I put together. Sorry so long, but there was just too much good footage of too many good people to edit any more. CHECK OUT THE BLACKOUT FOOTAGE AT THE ENd, IT"S PRETTY COOL!

Nice ride and video, I would like to ride that one in daylight, so that I could hit some of the small jumps. I would be interested in knowing the name or names of the trails that we rode last night.

Trails are great right now! Nice pics and it is always hairy in the dark! I rode last night up art nord (in another year or so its going to be rutted out like ben lomond?) greens, last chance, then a killer downhill to top it off. They were filming some Johhny Cash movie on the old snowbasin road so I decided to keep climbing! Dont feel too bad about the bike, I drove into the garage with my best buddys brand new bike atop my truck after the very first ride, busted the shifters, off, bent the handlebars and hurt my pride big time....I can relate!! Thanks for the report!

I'm using the Go Pro and I'm not sure of the brand beech is using. The GoPro is great for wide angle moving video, but isn't much good for still shots. Having said that, I use it and recommend it for sure!

I'm still using my pentax that I've had for about 3 years, but it's starting to take a beating. Not bad, @ 300 videos later.
My helmet cam mount is loose, i need a new helmet, and my batteries are dying....

Another helmet cam solution:
$35 if you have your own iPod…

Yeah Beech, I think you got the best bang for the buck there and hae it dialed in. What a crazy mount for the ipod? Looks like a jewlers helmet or something but for 35.00 can beat it.
