    Wild Horse Window

It's still a little hot in the desert for any serious hiking, but my kids (ages 7 and 9) and I did the short hike (about 3.5 miles round-trip) to Wild Horse Window yesterday. Temps were in the low-90s, but we had plenty of water and stopped to rest in the shade a few times.

We started the hike at noon and returned to the car at about 2:45PM. We first went through the small narrows in Wild Horse Canyon, then scrambled up the slickrock and found our way to the drainage below Wild Horse Window. There was a surprising amount of water in some of the potholes in the slickrock, must be from recent rain.

Edit: It looks like both the embedded Google map and the Picasa slideshow are broken on Bogley. I checked a couple of my past trip reports where the map and slideshow were working well before, and they're no longer displaying correctly. You can use the direct links to the KMZ file and my Picasa albums to see the hiking route/waypoints and a lot more photos.

Dang, you may be right. Crap, let me see if I can fix this ASAP. Maybe google changed their code

EDIT: The problem might be fixed now, we'll have to keep an eye on it. Thanks.

Udink- Between all of your cool hikes you take your kids on, and our afternoon of Geocaching together, I just want to tell you that I think you seem like you must be an awesome Dad! Way to be!
