    Just curious, I assume this is a digital shot, how do you control the noise with the long exposures needed for star trails? I keep thinking I'll try it but somehow never get around to actually doing it. Lately I also figured that noise would be prohibitive.

    Yeah. It's really piqued my interest in doing some time lapse in the daylight. Any experience with an intervalometer out there?
