Pounding Ponds
Early Sunday morning, I took a long drive to explore some dearly missed land and to hopefully find some unknown treasures along the way.
My first stop was at a creek that has always grabbed my attention, but never enough for me to give it a shot. Unfortunately, this creek wasnLost On A Hill

Loah, if you are ever going in this area again and would not mind a rookie tagging along let me know. Would love to watch & learn how to catch trout. I have a 4WD that may make it easier to get to some of the spots I see you have gone in the past. I am in AF.
Thanks for the trip report. Did you go past Cleveland, or fish there?

5 species of trout in 1 trip. Great job!
I've done 4 in the same river (weber) before + a whitefish. It was a good day, but that was several years ago.

Thanks, y'all. I'm not sure I'd be a very good guide though. My fly fishing skills are pretty limited and feather flickers tend to be the main source of a guide's business. Finding a clientele base for throwing hardware and bait would be difficult.
