Bow Hunting Elk - China Meadows
This is my brother's elk he got in China Meadows over Labor Day weekend of all times and places. It sounds like it was a zoo up there, he was going to be happy with a cow but ended up with a nice bull.
He's got a great story to go with it, I'll let him log on and tell it.

He just sent me some pictures of when he and my other brother first walked up to it. He may be able to log on tonight and tell the story.
Same pic, but lighter to see the Elk ahead:

Ive never hunted before and was wondering what the process is to get the elk back home? Do you cut it in pieces and if so with what? Can you give step by step basics.

TEKS, Google gutless method. There are quite a few that explain how.
Good Luck
