Hello from Joseph and a tip about topographic maps

I like maps. And I like looking at maps. I particularly like looking at free topographic maps. So I wrote software called Gmap4 to help me look. Of course I cannot give you a link since this is my first post here.

Let's see .... hmmmm ..... Google is your friend .....

Over this long weekend I have been spreading the word in other forums. Most have let me post (including links) with no problem. But some people have trouble recognizing free when it bites 'em in the butt. So a couple of forums took my post down and one even banned me for spamming.

So here's the deal. If you like maps too, check it out. If you give Gmap4 an honest look and you conclude that it is spam/advertising then you are welcome to beat me up one side and down the other. But remember the ground rule - you gotta give it an honest look.

Oh, and if after that honest look you still think I am trying to sell you something, then I just gotta ask. You tell me. What the heck am I selling?

Welcome to the forum. We don't have a problem with information about new technologies, we only dislike the promotion of any certain product without any other participation in our forums.

Yeah, then we'd have more support in the political threads!

Liked your stuff in the other thread, Joseph - here's an official "Welcome!" as well.
