Snowbasin's Coldwater Canyon to Wheeler

Once again we hit the trail that NEVER disappoints

I ventured out with Mark X2 and we parked at the lower Snowbasin parking lot. So here we are thinking we're going to get off the trail earlier than normal because we leave my house at 4:40 pm. We finally ride at 5:45, get up there about 6:15, and we're down to Wheeler at 7:30 just as it's getting dark. I never estimate it to take that long. Of course I got a rear flat (slime to the rescue) and so did Mark M by the time we reached the car.

We always do the shuttle on this one, and I couldn't imagine how late we'd be if we didn't.

If we're really short on time, we'll just go up and back on Coldwater, usually in about an hour if we don't mess around.

Oh, and we saw Gene down at the bottom of Wheeler.

Unfortunately this is an East facing trail so the daylight runs out fast. Hopefully we can fit a few more runs in after work before the time changes.
