It's the Alpine Ridge. Somewhere near White Baldy perhaps?

Nailed the ridge! Now to get the peak. Head west from White Baldy.

Nope. West of the pfeifferhorn along the alpine ridge. The pic is taken looking west.

hmmm...It's got to be east of Lone Peak, so maybe near Thunder Peak?

Well, only one choice left, gotta name it I guess! Still west of the thunders, and you are correct, east of Lone Peak. That happens to be Lone Peak in the background of the photo.

    2nd guess- Bearstooth

In the spirit of the season, I thought I would put this one up of me hiking in the fall. Name this hike in the Wasatch.

From the background, I am going to guess Grandeur, but I am thinking I am too far west...

Yup, Grandeur is for sure west of this location. You are in the right canyon though.

Dang, I had almost forgotten about this thread.

Anyway, my guess for the new photo is Thayne Peak.

Nope, but good guess. Not on a peak, this is a trail up that canyon. More like a saddle in the trail.

I see. I meant the peak in the photo, rather than the point from which is was taken. I should have read the question better.

Since I think it is Thayne Peak as viewed from the northeast, I would have to go for near White Fir Pass from the photo was taken. Perhaps the Bowman Fork Trail (or the very nearby Elbow Fork to Terraces trail)?

My initial though was the trail to Lambs Canyon Pass, but Thayne Peak looks too close.

Bingo! This pic was taken on the saddle before Baker Spring on the Bowman Fork Trail. Awesome Scott P- you are up!

Love this hike in the fall, so many colors and a nice raspberry patch up there too!

    Name the mountain.

In many ways, this could be a hard one to identify since not many climb it, but in one way identifying it is going to be quite easy, provided one is old enough.

Patmos Head? And if so, did you hike all the way up from the south? I thought you could drive pretty close to the top from the north.
