Awesome @zzyzx! I sure do love all of Lake Powell, but the south end is my favorite and consider it "heaven on earth". The photo was taken from the campground at Wahweap a few years ago and I must say that as far as campgrounds go, this one's pretty lame. I wish the NPS would take a lesson from Utah State Parks on how a campground is supposed to look.

    Anyhow, your up Michael.

    You're lightning-fast, Philippe.
Yes, it's Jail Rock. Seen from from Needles Overlook Rd, in the morning.
Here's a nicely view of the "thing w/ a man keeper pothole".

That's right, but could you tell the specific name of this place ? (here you can slide in the water and you fall in a swimming hole)

Hmm, I'm not sure what it's called, but I'm sure someone else knows.

That's not in North Fork of Mill Creek....

This small fall + swimming hole was given a specific name by the locals that is now well used.

  12. #1811
It's the Mill Creek Swimming Hole also known as Powerhouse Dam.

This is not at Powerhouse Dam, the swimming hole on the picture is much further on the right/South fork of Mill Creek. The name of this place is half American half Asiatic.

  14. #1813
Looks like Millcreek near Moab in the general vicinity of Powerhouse Dam much further on the right but with a half American half Asiatic name is as close as we're getting :). I'll keep this going.

    Where is this?

Great Salt Lake - Stansbury Island in the foreground, Pilot Peak in the background
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.
