I know where this is...it's in the Swell but I'll let someone else get it.

No, it's knotted rope (aka miner's hollow), right next to the squeeze. kaniukr you can go next

Sorry @dakotabelliston hadn't realised I was up as I didn't quite nail it. Couldn't decide between a nice photo I had that may have been a bit easy for some, or a not so nice one that's a bit more challenging hopefully, so went for latter as I may not get a future go!

No. First clue is it should be a bit darker in the photo and not that light grey colour of the foreground as that's flash that's made it look that light

    North Fork of Iron Wash?

  14. #2871
I wasn't sure where Iron Wash is, but just looked and it's not there. I don't think this slot has a name although the small area it sits in does. I thought I'd wait another day or 2 before giving clues, but perhaps I should give more now as it's a fairly short slot that's not visited that much. Firstly it's a bit deceptive as this is not a canyoneering canyon that canyoneers would go to, it's something people would hike up as I did from its entrance. Perhaps you can also drop into it if approaching from the top/rim somewhere with a bit of scrambling or climbing beyond where I turned round - I'm not sure? - although I guess if I'd kept going to where it dead ends my guess is it may well be a bit steep or some sort of dryfall.

Getting sort of warmer in the type of scenery, but not close geographically

Oh for cryin' out loud, Ross...at least tell us the name of a nearby known canyon? That's a nice slot, BTW.

My guess is that it's over there by Bryce and the top end of the Paria.
