I take it you want a PC? I've got a slightly older 17" Macbook Pro (pre-unibody era) that is around that speed with a Core2 Duo. Works fine, but I've got two other laptops now that are faster and so whenever I get around to wanting to post the details I'll be putting that one up for sale.

Hmm... I can look up a fair price - but looks like they go for around $900 (with some people asking up to $1200) on ebay... so... maybe $800 sounds fair to me?

It is in good condition with the keyboard and screen - but there is a minor ding on the trackpad (my son dropped a screwdriver on it - created a small dark spot / small dent on the trackpad - I can take a pic of it) [my son made me put that graphic inIt' got a 7200 RPM drive in it and 4GB of RAM (although this particular model only addresses 3GB of RAM - so it only effectively has 3GB but having 2 matched 2GB RAM sticks in it makes it slightly faster than having just 1GB and 2GB)

    2.33 GHz Core 2 Duo.

    Here's the info:

    Model Name: MacBook Pro
    Model Identifier: MacBookPro2,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.33 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1

    Sudden Motion Sensor:
    State: Enabled

    For a hard drive, it's got a 7200 RPM 320 GB drive:

    Capacity: 320.07 GB (320,072,933,376 bytes)
    Model: WDC WD3200BEKT-22F3T0
    Revision: 11.01A11
    Serial Number: WD-WXE608A35381
    Native Command Queuing: Yes

    Writable: Yes
    File System: Journaled HFS+
    BSD Name: disk0s2

I will wipe the hard drive and leave Snow Leopard on it on it for you.

I also have a newer Macbook Pro unibody with a 17" glossy screen, 500GB 7200 RPM drive, 8 gigs of RAM that was top of the line in December - but I'd probably want $2-3k for that one (I'd have to look up a fair price on it)
