Ben Lomond trail is getting trimmed
The Ben Lomond trail from North Fork park up to Skyline North has been overgrown for a long time and is finally getting a trim this week. The organizers of the Skyline Mountain Trail Marathon to be held 8/21 got about 3 miles opened up last Saturday and Today and should finish the rest by the end of the week.
The trail itself is fairly narrow with occasional rocks and roots and is a steady 10% grade.
I know some on this forum have met the mahogany and rose bushes up close and personal, but it's time to give it another try (before it grows back).Gene

sounds awesome, I have become friends with the overgrowth for a while and will take advantage of this trim. Maybe a good saturday early morning ride up to the peak and back. NICE!!
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.
