On our backpacking trip last week we found two items from Trader Joe's that really enhanced our meals. The first was this Thai Lime Chile Nut Mix. It's got dried chiles (like in Kung Pao) and dried lemon grass with peanuts, almonds and cashews. Add that to just about any meal that involves rice and it's 100% better!
They also have a dried fruit mix of mangoes, blueberries and cranberries that really perks up oatmeal. Turns boring and not really satisfying into a great breakfast. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life. - Ten Bears, "The Outlaw Josie Wales"
