Rain, No Seat, & Great Sunset on the Ogden Bonneville Shoreline

Garbanzo and I headed up to Rainbow Gardens tonight for a late ride. We only made it to Waterfall Canyon due to some seat difficulties on his new ride.

Still a great ride though, it was raining on the way down and it was great. There were a lot of people on the trail, all of them seemed to see this "giant rattlesnake" in a vague vicinity of the trail and warned us, but we never saw one.

We saw some hikers walking with bunches of balloons, I asked if we were late for the parade. They said it was for a memorial.

StumpJumper Light. It's the new race model. Who needs a stinking seat anyway!
I just dropped by to see what condition my condition is in.

By the way, since I cut out carbonation and caffeine a month ago I'm climbing much better.

I still kick your ass up the hill. Just kidding... I am slower than Moses in the desert.

The damn seat pretty much fell apart! Binghams gladly replaced it under warranty, and with a better seat even! Sombeech is not kidding about the carbonation. It's quite a difference

???? I know they pound the cokes down in the Tour De france for energy and if it was that big of difference in performance I dont think they would do it?

Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

Yeah but I wasn't drinking sugar, I think the immediate coke would definitely help, but the carbonation was a regular part of my diet.
