Thread: Orderville or Subway?

    Orderville or Subway?

There seems to be alot of posts on Subway and Orderville lately. So if you had to pick just one which would you pick?

    I would take Orderville.

Hmm...I get more satisfaction out of the Subway. Waterslide, underwater tunnel, a few rappels (with the Russel Gulch approach), dino tracks, warmer water, long swim, etc. Oh, and shorter drive shuttle compared to Orderville.

Orderville is still good and fun but I would choose Subway everytime.

Subway, but only because I have to pick one over the other.

And I used my massive Mod powers to turn the thread into a poll....

Hot day with great weather report, I would love to do Orderville with start via Birch. Less favorable weather day, I would choose Subway as you can escape in more places.

I would like to see both canyons when in full fall foliage.

I'd have to vote Subway, my reasoning would be nicer water features and swims.
The hikes are a tradeoff, you spend a lot of the time getting into the meat of Orderville, and a lot of time leaving the meat of Subway.

Tough choice! But the wait in line at 3am the day before vs walking up and getting tickets day of always seals the deal for me.
Your safety is not my responsibility.

Subway with Noobs, Englestead/Orderville with more experience or Das Boot/subway. But for me I chose the Subway. I really, really like that hike.

Subway, but Orderville is still great.

Just one or the other, on their own: Subway. Add on Birch or Englestead, and I'd go with Orderville.

But you can add Das to the subway and get a full aroma elk adventure too.
