    Yellowstone 2010

    Just finished a great trip on the motorcycle. St George to Yellowstone and back in 5 days and 1600 miles. Went to Strawberry Res the first day (Wed 7/21) Dad smoked some ribs and made dutch oven beans and cobbler for dinner

    Headed to Pinedale, WY the next day and stayed at the lodge on Half Moon Lake.

    Then went through Jackson, Tetons, and did the loop in Yellowstone and stayed in West Yellowstone.

    Friday we got up and went North to see Quake lake and headed down past Palisades Res and Bear Lake and up to Logan, that was a pretty ride.

    The ride from Logan to St George today was not too bad til we dropped off the Black Ridge and was back in the blast furnace.

    There is a difference in quality between the canyoneering camera and the DSLR. We did document the trip with plenty of pics

    Traffic wasn't too bad being on a bike helped, there were a couple slow downs but by the time we got there the bear was gone. Bunches of people at Old Faithful, but overall not horrible. Seems like some city folks will cause a slowdown if a squirrel runs across the road.
