Prairie Dog Poppin'
We had some decent luck in the morning with an overcast day, but when the sun came out later, so did the rest of the Prairie Dogs. We got some great footage.
I had to "De-Gore" the video a bit.

I am a little curious about this pic though. Something not quite right with Beech's hands.

yes the Gory Version needs to be available for public consumption :)
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Looks like it could be fun... but which species of prairie dog is that? From the looks of it, it's probably not the Utah Prairie dog... but if it was... better hide these pics since the Utah Prairie dog is an endangered species

edit: oh, they are listed as "threatened", but might be moved to endangered soon.
Also - to clarify - I'm not trying to cast judgement or say you shouldn't do this - just might want to double check that no crazy people see these pics and try to get you thrown in jail for killing a specific species of rodent.-----

The protected rodents that are tunneling in cemeteries (http://www.ksl.com/index.php?nid=148&sid=11727349&hl=5) are exclusive to southwest Utah, We were in Wyoming.
This hunting trip was slow for the most part, clouds were out and by this time of year the rodents have been shot at or poisoned enough to limit our fun. Early next summer it will be good again
