Any ideas on where to get a GPS trails map of the Uintas
So I have a Garmin GPS 60CSx, which is really sweet. But I am looking for a map of the Uintas to down load to it. Hopefully for free, but I'm willing to pay. So far I can't find anything.
Does anyone out there know? Thanks in advance.

If you know what trail you want you could always see if you can find it on redtrails.com and download the GPX file for said trail.. if you are looking for Topo maps of the area I know there are a few threads on here that help with general free Topo map stuff but won't have the trails themselves..
Tacoma Said - If Scott he asks you to go on a hike, ask careful questions like "Is it going to be on a trail?" "What are the chances it will kill me?" etc. Maybe "Will there be sack-biting ants along the way?"

Free detailed 24k topo maps of the entire state (and many others). Way better detail than the paid Garmin maps too.Last edited by ibenick; 07-14-2010 at 01:37 PM. Reason: Added better link
