Uintas - Brown Duck?
I'm headed up to the Brown Duck/East Basin area in the Uintas next week. Does anyone have any up-to-date information on the conditions?
We'll be hiking in from Moon Lake, and I'm also interested to know what the flow might be like in Brown Duck Creek since we plan to cross it about half way up.
Thanks in advance!

Lots of mosquitoes. Snow up high in shady spots. That is the conditions near Mirror Lake as of this past weekend.
The man thong is wrong.

I was up in the Grandaddy lakes area over the 4th and there were a ton of mosquitos, it snowed, and got below freezing both nights. Other then that it was a great trip. I also went up to Paul Lake this last weekend (It's due north of Paradise Reservoir). There were a few thunderstorms that dumped some serious hail, no snow (it was @ about 10'600), and almost no mosquitos there. Definitely a crap shoot so be prepared for anything.
