Windows Live Movie Maker - produce HD .mp4 footage

I edited some footage from the ride last week from a GoPro helmetcam. They produce the .MP4 file extension which is becoming popular, but hard to edit with the usual software.

So I didn't want to use my current software and lose the HD aspect, so I looked into Windows Live Movie Maker.

It'll ask you to download the whole suite like Messenger, Toolbar, photosomething....

But I was impressed with how easy it was to use - and for FREE.

I'll still have to test how it does with my .MOV files, but this is what I'll use from now on for .MP4 files.

The format is .mov so let me know if you figure out how to get them working wlmm

Looks like the audio has a problem, but the video goes through just fine.

I took this 640X480 30fps clip from my camera and produced it in the 720p mode just to see if YouTube would register it as HD. It did. lol

Hey just call us early explorers! My original helmet cam mount weighed about 5 lbs! Now I got smart and mount the camera on a tripod on my boat instead of my head.
