Snowbasin - Coldwater - Icebox - Wheeler
This is probably my favorite ride in the Ogden area. We parked a car at the bottom of Wheeler Canyon, then shuttled up to the lower Snowbasin parking lot.
We biked up to the overlook, I heard it's 3.2 miles up, which really doesn't feel like it. Then we come down and take the turnoff near the Maples campground, down towards Icebox, and then Wheeler. We're guessing it's another 7 miles besides the Coldwater trail.
Mark B has some awesome footage from his GoPro HD that we'll have to post up soon. In the meantime, here are some pics and a short clip from my camera.
We also ran into Sarah Kaufmann, she flatted out and we gave her a tube.

So, we parked at snowbasin, climbed NorthWest, came back down most of the way and went down East to the lower vehicle at the bottom of Wheeler.

Wheeler is 1.8 miles long, and I think maples is in the vicinity of 3.2, dont have my GPS with me right this second or I could tell ya on the head. I dont think it is 7 miles with ice box and maples, that sounds way to much but regardless it is one awesome ride. Great fun trails up there, I just hopw I am not here when all the proposed development starts up at snowbasin, going to be a real bummer for the quiet trails.
Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

Coldwater trail is 5.39 miles round trip from the lower parking lot which includes the dirt road to get to the trail head which shaves off at least another mile. 1300 feet of climbing to the overlook.
