Having never been up there, is this waterfall along the trail to Lower Bells Reservoir? If so, was the guy off the trail and that's why he fell?

The falls are above the Lower Reservoir. It's about 1 to 1.5 hours from the TH up to the falls. The falls are a very popular destination and the trail is really good up to the falls. Above the falls the Bell Canyon trail starts to deteriorate... or at least that was the case last time I hiked the complete Bells about 5 years ago. The main trail passes near the falls and has several spur trails that lead over to the falls...
This accident happend at the lower falls, there is anther waterfall (upper falls) that is further up the canyon... The lower falls is the typical turn around for most folks day hiking Bell Canyon.
