Logan Canyon?
I was driving back from Bear Lake yesterday, and at Ricks Springs in the Logan River I saw a small crew with some rafts and kayaks. The river was raging, complete whitewater it seemed all the way down to the dams in the lower part of the canyon.
Anybody tried this? The map is showing where I saw them putting in.

I've fly fished that area of the Logan River many times, it's hard to imagine being able to float it in a raft. Maybe a kayak but only at extremely high water otherwise you'd be getting stuck all the time... in tight choke points and shallow water.

There's actually a pretty big kayaking scene on the Logan river in the spring. I'm not one of them, but the guys that do it love it. It was flowing at close to "scary" levels a few days ago from what I heard.

Yeah, after I saw the rafts, granted smaller, I looked at the river the whole way down to the dams. It looked very raftable, although there are a few tree branches that come out into the river, you'd just have to hurry and navigate around them or duck down and go through them.
A kayak though should do it no problem.
