    Current Conditions of Utah Slots

This is the new current conditions website:

    www.candition.com

This way, our friends here at Bogley, the ACA forums, and the Yahoo Canyons group, can post there CANyon conDITIONs, on a neutral website.

Registering is free, and very simple. We hope you will find this useful and the Canyoneering Community can benefit from everyone's contribution to it.

A good TEMPLATE to follow is as such:
"Little flow in the canyon. No wetsuits required=only 2 very short swims (6feet). 2nd to last rappel had bad webbing and replaced it. Lots of poison ivy on 3rd rappel, rappel on right (LDC) side instead. Took our group of 6 (5 noobs) roughly 5 hours. Click on this for our TR on Bogley."

    Extra Notes:
One of the biggest draws to the website, is that *soon* people will be able to post TRs links (linking back to their Bogley TR, or ACA TR, Yahoo TR, etc) so people will be able to get an in-depth idea of what your TR was all about, and perhaps why you gave it a 2-star rating...

Another big draw is that it will keep a record of all the previous conditions. This could be helpful for trending the canyon (IE such as how often and how long the canyons hold water after a rainstorm) and it will be very good to trend what the average time it takes a group (with how many people, including noobs and veterans alike) to go through.

We hope that those who canyoneer will make a contribution in return to the website and let us all know of what the condition was.

Thanks to all of those who have posted on the new website!
We've actually had a very good response!

How are you guys holding up with it? Too much of a hassle? Something else we can implement? Make it mobile friendly? etc. (Yes, I know there is another thread on this already. But this one is a sticky! )
