Das Boot / Subway

I am planning a trip to Zion in late July and we where thinking about doing Das Boot and exiting out Subway. Will we need a permit for both Das Boot and Subway? I just don't want to get hit with an expensive fine on my way out because I didn't know better.

You need a permit for Das Boot exiting out the Subway. You only have to pay for one permit but your permit has to say you are exiting out the Subway. If all the Subway permits are taken, your only option will be to exit before the Subway or you would get fined if you were caught in the Subway section.

ok thanks for explaining it. It looks like we will plan on just doing das boot and if we magically get a subway permit its all the better.
